I love books that are fun to read...this book will inspire children and might even speak to their parents as well...awesome message delivered through silly words and wonderful illustrations.
I found this book to be a wonderful reminder that anything is possible if you commit to an idea and are willing to see it through to the end. It is written in a format geared more towards children, but readers of all ages will be inspired by the message. My young nieces and nephews love the Dr Suess like style and seem to be able to comprehend the message. Older readers will appreciate the sincerity of the moral and the entertaining simplicity of its delivery.
This is a great book for parents to share with their children.
It has the feel of green eggs and ham but more inspiring is the yes you can man. Fun to read to the little kids, but even better, it will be fun to read by the toddlers.
I loved reading a book that provides inspiration in a light tone. The story is a lesson that children, teens and adults can learn from. The combination of art work and the story works very well together. Definitely a philosophy that can be refreshed from time to time. Oh yea, I wouldn't want to leave out that reading the book with our 13 month old worked well because of the eye catching pictures to entertain a young mind.
The "yes you can" attitude is probably the most important one that parents can instill in their children and Mr. Oshen's book delivers it in a most entertaining and engaging way. While it's clearly targeted to a younger audience, the message is one that everyone can appreciate and benefit from.
